Donegal County Council is hosting public consultation events on Wednesday 6 December 2017 on the TEN-T Priority Route Improvement Project in Donegal.
The TEN-T or the Trans-European Transport Network consists of three National Primary Roads in Donegal - the N15/N13 at Ballybofey/ Stranorlar, the N56/N13 Letterkenny to Manorcunningham and the N14 Manorcunningham to Lifford.
The TEN-T is defined as a selection of strategic transport corridors throughout the European Union (EU) that have been identified to play a key role in the mobility of goods and passengers through the EU. The TEN-T network in Donegal, a TII Funding Project, and is one of the largest infrastructural projects in Donegal.
These three sections of the TEN-T network in Donegal have been prioritised for improvement to address existing safety and operational issues, and the public is being invited to view and comment on the constraints within the defined study area.
Public Consultations events will be held at the County House in Lifford, the Villa Rose Hotel in Ballybofey and the Clanree Hotel in Letterkenny from 2 to 8pm on Wednesday 6 December 2017.
